Compatible Vehicles (OE: 12718569) Applicable Brands: Cadillac: XT4, XT5 Buick: Envision, Regal, LaCrosse, GL8, New Excelle GT, Trax, Encore, GL6, Orlando, Verano Chevrolet: Malibu XL, etc. Engine Type: Primarily compatible with GM's 1.0T, 1.3T, 2.0T, and other turbocharged engines. II. Product Overview The purge pump is a core component of the Evaporative Emission (EVAP) system. It directs fuel vapor adsorbed by the charcoal canister into the engine for combustion, preventing fuel vapor leakage and enhancing environmental performance. This product complies with the SAE J1930 standard and is suitable for multiple models within the General Motors group. III. Technical Specifications Item Parameter Detail Operating Voltage DC 12V (±10%) Rated Flow Rate ≥1.5 L/min (@50kPa) Temperature Range -40℃ ~ 120℃ Port Size 6mm quick-connect fittings Protection Rating IP67 (Dustproof and waterproof) IV. Installation Steps Preparation: Turn OFF the ignition switch and disconnect the negative battery terminal. Clean the charcoal canister and associated lines. Reverse blow treatment using a high-pressure air gun is recommended. Removing the Old Pump: Press the locking tab and disconnect the electrical connector. Use a dedicated tool to release the line locking collar. Installing the New Pump: Connect the lines, aligning the arrow direction (pointing towards the engine side). Ensure the three pressure equalization holes are unobstructed (to prevent pressure sensor false readings). Startup Test: After engine startup, the purge pump should run for approximately 5-10 seconds and then stop. If it runs continuously, check for line blockages. V. Fault Handling Code P1467: Check for kinked lines or a clogged charcoal canister. Persistent Abnormal Noise: Requires pump replacement. VI. Precautions Strictly prohibited to initiate pump testing immediately after refueling the fuel tank.
